CFD Flow Study: DG Sets & Chillier Units Placement
DG sets & Chillers require fresh air for their normal operation and the inlet fresh air temperature must not exceed 45°C. In this case DG sets & Chillers are placed near the smoke exhaust outlet grills. The CFD Analysis must study & prevent the hot air from the exhaust outlet grills from entering the air inlets of the DG sets & Chillers.
Conclusion
- With minor changes, DG sets & Chillers were placed in ideal locations.
